Marcos leads Clearshore as Managing Principal. He held management and technical leadership positions in the development of enterprise applications at a number of Silicon Valley startups before co-founding a startup commercialize social search algorithms he co-invented, published and patented. Marcos went on to lead the Government of Puerto Rico’s investment promotion program for the information technology & aerospace sectors, having landed investments by Pratt & Whitney, Honeywell Aerospace and Lockheed Martin, among others. He has an undergraduate Computer Systems Engineering degree from Stanford University and an International Marketing Certification from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

James handcrafts high-end,low-power, virtualized Linux devices for embedded solutions or data centers.He also enjoys extensive experience in the design and deployment of secure, manageable, enterprise-class data centers and open source software infrastructures, including network security, content management, database, and messaging systems.

Mathematics Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley, former Professor at the University of Puerto Rico with research track record in parallel & symbolic computation, finite fields and information theory, including algebraic coding theory. Dr. Moreno's work has broad applicability to sonar and radar technology. As General Manager of Puerto Rico's Country Code Top Level Domain (.pr), Dr. Moreno has also pioneered the deployment of DNSSec and other measures to protect the integrity of the global information network. He has been a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Finite Fields and Applications as well as of the Designs, Codes and Cryptography Journal.
